Perking Up a Website with Blue Rooster Web

Aroma of coffee in the morning, there is nothing better to smell, when you are waking up. A cup of warm Joe.

Mike came to Blue Rooster Web a few months back looking for us to improve his current website. Java Joes Fundraising, which is a flash site, used an animate version of his iconic Java Joe. The site was hard to update and it could use a nice modern look. So we set off the make Java Joe hip again.

We made a slight update to Joe’s appearance, he walks out now having a cool pair of Ray Bans, smart phone, wireless ear buds and of course a pair of skater shoes. The site got an upgraded clean appearance, mobile compatible responsive tone. Lastly, we then combined three sites into one Java Joes Coffee, Cookie Joe and Fudge Joe.

Finally in a few weeks to come, we will be upgrading the store to an all in one e-comerence solution that integrated directly into Amazon for fulfillment.

Home is where the heart is, the launch of Calculating Destiny, a reimagined brand.

When she came to me with the original idea, I thought she was crazy. Financial services paired with the idea of home. Calculating Destiny is a professional  services and accounting company, dedicated to the tag line (which we created for them); “Strategic solutions that revolve around numbers allow you to exactly calculate your growth model through creative marketing, compliance, and metrics. Our partnership with you is designed to help direct your books, to turn ideas into profits.” How could this be about home?

Home is where the heart is. It is where we begin our day and end our day. In between, we think about home; our partner, our children, our pets and the spaces that surround them. In between the love of home, is the right to protect, nourish and grow it. This is where the financial part comes in. The numbers are what help build these memories, the structures, and the family. As business owners/leaders, our drive to create comes from our businesses, and what our business produces. Although it was crazy, the marriage of these two idea’s is genius.

Lets remove the sterile environment of company, corporate, partnership of firms, and lets come home.

Launches Tabanero Cigars

Sun Sign Designs Inc, Digital Marketing Tampa Fl., is proud to offically launch the Tabaneros Cigars’ new website and mobile site. We were contracted to design a mobile platform to handle Tabanero’s cigar inventory in an innovative way. The mobile site features a vertical and horizontal product slide display and an one touch product purchase system. Tabanero vision was to present an experience to the cigar smoker life style. Their product photography needed a way to show case the cigar lifestyle, Cuban hand man cigar craftsmanship, and extraordinary packaging. With that said, the entire site was designed around the cigar lifestyle and the expectations of the cigar smoker. To stream line the buying process, a one touch purchase system was built to allow a customer to choose their favorite cigar and proceed to check out. Returning customers would be sent directly to payment processing with out the need to fill in a form.

The site integrates current marketing intelligence and dovetailed consumer remarking to the Tabanero brand. All of this with the intentions to build a market place for other product vendors fitting into the cigar lifestyle paradigm.

The Dirt Road Project is BUILDING COMMUNITIES OF HOPE for the developmentally disabled in Rochester, NY, as well as the hungry, orphaned, and uneducated involved with our sister project in Hinche, Haiti. WE ARE EXPECTING IN CONFIDENCE for those we serve by envisioning a world where hope continually springs eternal.

This year construction will begin on our first residential home for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in Rochester. Recently, Sue Wolter-Pickett connected with TDRP and found hope for her son, Owen. She shares,

“My autistic son is one of the most gentle, caring people I know. As he has grown older (just turned 21!), I worry everyday where he will live, where he will work. … With housing for those in need of some sort of assistance quite scarce, the worries I have increase more and more, so much that they keep me awake at night. The Dirt Road Project has relieved these worries! This project can bring independence and dignity to my son! He, as well as so many others, has so much to offer the world. The Dirt Road Project will enable him to reach his full potential …!”

And, in a small mountainous community in Centre Haiti, where cries of hunger echo throughout shanties, Metuschela, age 14, told TDRP, 

“Before I met you, I was very hungry. I did not have any food to eat and would have to walk to school hungry and be hungry all day. I could not focus on my school which I love so much. I would come home hungry and not have anything to eat in the night and do it all over again the next morning. But, I give thanks to God for sending The Dirt Road Project. I am no longer hungry. I can sleep at night, and now can study. Before you, there was darkness, now my family is in the light.”
